Steve’s Registry

Steve has Stage IV (4) Terminal Throat Cancer. In August 2022, He survived an emergency laryngectomy. A laryngectomy is a surgical procedure involving the removal of the larynx (voice box). Post surgery Steve is now aphonic which means he can no longer verbally speak and is solely dependent on his stoma through the neck to breathe. Steve underwent radiation and successfully completed 20 consecutive rounds. Steve currently has Care 1st in the state of Arizona which is a government subsidized health insurance that assists with the bare minimum. Often providing incorrect or non insurance covered medical supplies and forgone treatments. Despite his disabilities and terminal illness, Steve is still currently working as a small landscaping business owner. He loves and cares for his rescued dog, Carbon, who has now become his companion throughout his day to day hardships. Steve mainly needs help with basic needs and medical supplies that Care 1st can not provide. Any support for Steve and Carbon would mean the world. 🦋
