At 49 a few months shy of my Big 50 I never imagined I would get the worst news of my life. I was diagnosed with a rare cancer. The first two months I was admitted to the hospital quite a few times. I was given Twenty-five consecutive days of radiation and chemo which was a killer . The Dr. ‘s thought that would have taken care of it but unfortunately now it has metastasized to my liver and lung. They are now doing a stronger regiment of three different chemos with immunotherapy this time around 😪 I never thought I would be spending my 50th fighting this horrible disease. It’s been the hardest battle of my life. I thank God I have a great support system around me! I don’t know what I would do or where I would be without them. This time around the Dr. said my entire hair is going to fall off. This is very hard for me because those that know me know I’ve had long her up to my butt almost my entire like. My parents always told me that a woman’s hair is one of her beauties that always stood in my mind. Therefore I never cut my hair, just trimmed it. One of my friends saw this site on the Today show and told me to do this registry this way they know how they can help me since I’ve been out of work for months now due to my diagnosis, unfortunately. I lost so much weight a lot of my clothes don’t fit and the ones that due my Ostomy bag shows too much. It makes me feel uncomfortable.😩 This entire situation is extremely scary I’m not going to lie and I'm still at a disbelief. 😪 I have no choice but to fight and keep going. I have way too much to still live for! Sunil, our three kids and three small grandkids still need me. 💜 This too shall pass! GOD is going to pull me through this. 🙏🏼
