Hey there, I'm Yadi, and my life has been a wild ride lately. Picture this: in May 2020, smack dab in the middle of a global pandemic, I welcomed my bundle of joy into the world. Just as I was getting the hang of this whole parenting thing, bam! April 2022 hits, and I get hit with the news—I've got Stage 4 ovarian cancer. Fast forward through rounds of chemo and a hysterectomy, and I finally kicked cancer's butt by August 2022. Victory dance, right? Not so fast. November 2023 rolls around, and I'm hit with another curveball: MDS. The doctors didn't paint a pretty picture, but guess what? I'm here, defying the odds and living life to the fullest. Now, while I'm grateful to be cancer-free, I still have some hurdles to jump, like continued treatment until I can get a bone marrow transplant in a year or two. But hey, I'm not here to dwell on the tough stuff. I recently spent some time in the hospital, and it got me thinking—maybe it's okay to ask for a little pampering every now and then.
