Get started now

Hi, I’m Jenn Greenhut, a stage IV triple-negative breast cancer survivor. When I was diagnosed, I was only a year and a half into my marriage, struggling through three unsuccessful IVF rounds, and feeling deeply depressed. I thought life was killing me off because I failed at my one purpose of being a mom, but after my oncologist mentioned that getting pregnant most likely would have killed me, I shifted from feeling like a victim to a victor.

I realized life was saving me, and that everything is always working out. I dove into treatment with trust, deep gratitude, and a commitment to self-love. Four months later, I was cancer-free, and I learned that love, gratitude, and trust are just as powerful as a great medical team. This experience really transformed me, and left me so grateful for life, inspiring me to create an intentional accessory brand, Love, Zero Negative and The Zero Negative Foundation to share the lessons I’ve learned and give back to cancer research and patients.

I’m excited to be on this journey with Elissa and everyone here!

My Top Items/Services (sorry more than 5!):

Lola Blankets

Chemo skin is incredibly sensitive, and these Lola blankets provided so much comfort. They’re incredibly soft and cozy, and they have a great story behind the brand.

2 Trauma/Stress Practitioner Gabrielle Levy

Gabrielle Levy is an incredible healer, offering bodywork, energy work, spiritual guidance, fascia release, stress relief, and transformational support. Her holistic approach was vital to my healing process, helping me navigate both physical and emotional challenges during and after treatment. She’s in the Los Angeles area.

3 Meditation and Breathwork

Unplug Meditation became my emotional sanctuary during treatment. Their Zoom and in-person classes, along with powerful breathwork techniques, allowed me to connect deeply with my heart and learned the difference between what my head said and what my heart knew. In addition, this daily practice really helps to calm the mind and anxiety.

4 Journaling

Journaling through treatment was a very effective way to process and transform my experiences. Writing helped me unlock emotions, fears, and anxieties, turning them into parts that needed to be seen and then released. It can be an incredibly healing practice. And who knows, it might even become the beginnings of the memoir you’ll one day write about your story! My husband and I found a way through writing letters and journaling, which eventually evolved into our book Everyone Needs a Larry. It shares our journey from two perspectives—the patient and the caregiver—offering insights on surviving love, marriage, and stage IV cancer.

5 Documentary: HEAL

This powerful documentary shares the story of Anita Moorjani and explores the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit. It reinforced my belief that our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs play a critical role in our health, and it showcases the miracles of healing from cancer and other physical issues. Released after I was cancer-free, it helped me see that healing is not about becoming cancer-free or reaching a particular destination—it's about fully embracing life as it is. The power of that choice, to surrender to what is and find meaning in every moment, was a key lesson that resonated deeply with my own transformation.

6 Some Books I Found Super Helpful

I read a lot during treatment, and I wanted to share some that I found really helpful, ranging from science and the best foods to eat, to inspiring stories on remission. One of my favorites is Dr. Susan Love's Breast Cancer Book, which offers incredible insights. I also highly recommend The Whole Body Workbook for Cancer, which provides a holistic approach to healing.

7 Boiron Calendula Cream

I used this throughout my radiation treatment, and it really worked. It’s easy to get at Rite Aid, and I applied it every day before and after treatment. Within a month, my skin looked almost back to normal.
