My name is Matt and I was diagnosed with AML when I was 28 years old. After a stem cell transplant from an unrelated donor and treatment after a relapse, I am cancer free and learning how to live again. I love to travel the world and meet as many young cancer survivors as I can through various camps and adventures. I work as a software engineer during the day and bake goodies for my friends at night.

1 Orgain chocolate nutritional shakes

These things saved my butt and can’t be beat for flavor in a meal replacement. Say goodbye to Ensure. Nutritional, they come in dairy free and multiple protein types, and the founder had cancer themselves. When I couldn’t eat anything else after total body radiation, this is what got me through. Should be able to find at most grocery stores or online.

2 Butt kit

Moisture barrier paste

Toilet paper spray (the GOAT)

Dry wipes

3 Bath salts

If you have a tub it can be so nice sometimes to control one thing and take a warm bath. For me this brought me happiness on dark days and even with a central line hanging out of my chest I would just sit in the tub without filling it too much so the line stayed dry.

4 Legend Flannel Hats

I loved the flannel hats from Legend. I just liked the way I looked in these when I was regrowing my hair and ended up wearing hats every day.
